This is the sanskrit term to mean liberation. It refers to the freedom from needing to reincarnate on the earth plane again and the ultimate merging with the  Divine or Brahma.

According to the Hindu texts we are on a continuous cycle of lifetime after lifetime learning the lessons that we do on this planet. At one point, we finally become realized and are released from this cycle. Nobody is excluded, by the way, we might be on different parts of the journey but this moksha is open to all souls.

In vedic astrology, there are areas of the chart that rule the moksha concept of one´s life.

When one turns to one´s spirituality we are seeking to free ourselves from being overly attached to our emotions which can cause us so much pain. This is one step towards moksha.
